Yes, spiders. Again. This time all over two shrubs – mugo pines maybe? I don’t know. I haven’t figured out what to do about this yet other than pour gasoline over the bushes and light a match, so if anyone has any other ideas, let me know.

Ugh, we had same problem w/ our cypress tree. It IS frustrating to keep nature “neat”, isn’t it? I have no solution for you other than aggressively ‘dusting’ it every couple of days with a rough broom š Spiders are generally beneficial to our ecosystem but why can’t they do their thing exclusively under porch steps or in a barn a la Charlotte?, huh?
Kudos to you taking a tech break. We also recently moved to a new home so I have the joy of spending less time at the computer and more time getting unwittingly smeared with mud that sticks to the garden hose and decorates my pant or bare legs.
Peace – @plangardengal
Isn’t that funny, I never thought of just sweeping them off – was thinking it was maybe spider mites and had a natural spray solution to mix up, but sweeping would be much easier – I’ll give it a shot. And congrats on your new home and the mud smears – garden initiation, lol – thanks for stopping by –
