Given that we hadn’t really touched Upper Pond since moving into 963, it was a mess – too, too full of lily pads and algae. I don’t have a good Before photo of it, so you’ll have to imagine a bit of a swamp.
On a wonderfully warm fall day, the Other One climbed into Upper Pond and cleaned it out, kept company by a heroic fish that now has an adventure to tell the grandfish after making it all the way up the pump from Lower Pond.
