Last week I saw a beautyberry tree in a Victoria garden and loved it, and then I recognized a smaller version of the same plant at my local gardening center.
It’s end of season sales now that it’s mid-October, so I bought a beautyberry shrub, moved some irises out of the front bed, and planted it. It’s a fast grower, and here’s what we can look forward to next winter:
