We’re past the halfway mark for the first month of January already, and this last weekend renovations at 963 were underway again. The blue carpet in the bedroom upstairs has mostly been ripped out now, and we emptied one of the guest bedrooms downstairs so we can slowly get ready to paint it. (Sanding next, then washing the walls, then primer, then paint.)
I thought about making house plans for the year, but then decided just to see what gets done as the weeks go by. But I’m dreaming of painting three bedrooms in the near future, ripping up carpet in the treadmill room and painting that room too, ripping down wallpaper in the bathroom downstairs, ripping out tile in the bathroom downstairs, ripping down more wallpaper in the bathroom by the kitchen…so I think it’s safe to say 2011 may be the year of rip. And paint. And tile.
