I couldn’t start the week with terror, so yesterday’s post was about robins – friendly, happy robins. Today’s post is about spiders. Scary, dead spiders.
We’ve taken to setting spider traps around 963 in different spots: the furnace room, the storage room, behind the downstairs couch, and so on. Yesterday we took a look at one of those spider traps and ugh, this is what we found. Those are spiders on the left, and pillbugs on the right.
What? You want a closer look? Are you sure? Note the size of the ringleader spider.
Yes, that ringleader is pretty big, compared to a cell phone…
But let it be said, we are finding fewer and fewer spiders around here all the time. Getting rid of the garden blocks is helping, because those blocks were the Cayman Islands for bugs. The traps are obviously helping too. A few more ringleaders and we’ll be keeping the population under control. Under control, I tell you!
